Hello everyone I'm new to everything so bear with me I have a htc g-1 and for the time it came out I've loved it but lately I had one problem, well one day I pulled out the sdcard without unmounting it and a I con came up on the left hand corner well it said that I removed the sdcard but when I tried to put it back nothing came up.I took the settings and tried to reset it but ever since I can't mount or unmount the sd card.please help me restore it where I can use my sdcard.what do I need to do.I bought another sdcard from walmart thinking that it would help but to no avail it won't come back on.and it seem like some files for the sdcard are not there. Think they're saying null .help help or did I kill my sdcard part of my phone.have some gone through this problem and fixed it somehow?

Hi there, generally speaking, you're not really supposed to remove any flash media without unmounting it via the host device first.

Have you tried the old SD Card in a card reader? It could also be the new SD Card isn't formatted which is why the phone doesn't recognise it. Have you also tried resetting your phone?

Those are just general things to try, the folks over at the T-Mobile G1 sub-forums may be of more assistance.

Welcome to the forums.
