So I live in New Zealand and REALLY want to play a game which I found on a website, it said it's a free game and it's android but when I looked in the market, it said it didn't have it. Does this mean it's only available in Japan? Is it possible to get it on my phone?
What's the name of the game? From my experience, games from other countries come up all the time in the market, purchasing them is the hard part (doesn't like the currency exchange I suppose).
It's called ケータイ王子 (keitai ouji) and I searched for it in the market and couldn't find it then I used the barcode scanner for the link and it said "Couldn't find requested item"
I just searched for it and found the right QR Code, but it's regional, so you need to change the location of your market to download it. To do that, download Market Enabler and set your location to Japan: market-enabler - Project Hosting on Google Code
You need root to use market enabler, it won't work without it.
I just downloaded it and it works great on the Nexus One, but what exactly is this?
Looks like a shonen-ai hentai game to me, the only genre of games I really don't want to try.
Today is your lucky day, I heard someone was bored and uploaded the game for you since it is free.
I guess the market restriction is to save the game from bad reviews from people who don't understand a word, so there should be no problems.
It needs additional data files after the install, but I guess they aren't region locked, if they are let me know.
