I just bought a new Motorola Bionic through Verizon for my japanese wife. I bought it primarily because I was told that she would be able to SPEAK a message into her Android in Japanese, and the phone would send the sg, via email, text or voice mail to me in English (or to anyone else in French, Italian - whatever).
so far, all she's been able to accomplish is to speak ONE word and the phone sends a txt msg to my phone in both Japanese and English.
Can anyone tell me if there is an app that needs to be loaded on her phone?
Also, even though she attended a basic training class at Verizon, the teachers were not aware of how to accomplish this. At least she can make a call!
Now she is asking for a new I-Phone! I think it's really a matter of installing an app and a bit of advanced training.
