JB has caused phone number issue

It would seem that something has changed with the phone formats with JB. Possibly country code? My wife rings me and even though her contact is in the phone it doesn't recognise the number. The number rings with a +61 in front for Australia. I also noticed that the contacts doubled up on the phone numbers. e.g if I had 02 9111 1111 in under my wife it also added (02) 9111 1111.

If I go to messaging and find her mobile number with the +61 in front and choose to add to contacts and update existing contact it adds the +61 number and now I have even more phone numbers....

Anyone else with this issue or suggestions???

There is an option somewhere in Phone settings to do what the phone is doing.
