When I try to play video I just recorded I get a pop up window saying this video cannot be played. Not sure if this has been reported I have been gone since I updated to JB.

Are you using the stock video playrr? If so, I believe you are limited to mp4 and m4v video formats. Have you tried using an app like MX Player to view your vid?

yes and no but the stock player should play videos i record right?

Should. I am no expert, but I have had no issues playing my own vids with MX Player. I don't usr stock apps.
