Jelly Bean is avaliable Kies

Took mine about 35 minutes. Only hitch was it sure messed up my Contacts which displays my Google Mail address book. I now have up to 5 duplicates for most names and any extra information I added, like an address or birthday, might be listed 10 or 12 times!

Otherwise, it seems okay.

After I deleted all my contacts on the phone and imported one of the folders on my external sd card I had as a backup for my contacts, everything is good with mine too.

Lots of new features now...... nothing different really, just a new way of doing the things it did before.

After the update to JB I have noticed a problem.....not huge..... but very irritating. When trying to enter an event on the stock calendar, after you have entered all the information and press SAVE, it may or may not save it. If by some slim chance it does at least save the title, the details you wanted are not there and the edit function is absolutely useless.

I researched it and tried all the tips and tricks (reboot/clear cache/etc) but nothing works. I finally resorted to entering events using the ADD QUICK tab which enters only the title.

Looking forward to a fix for this.......

Having problem upgrading to JB. Kies will not show option to upgrade. Have I727 running 4.0.4 with baseband version I727UCLI3. Running current version of Kies 2.5.3.13001_7. When connected all I get is an info line stating "Current firmware version : PDA:LI3 /Phone:LI3 / CSC:LI3 (ATT). Phone was never rooted. Am I missing something?

Nevermind, after 6 hours or so got it to work. There has to be a better way to upgrade than using Kies.:stupido3:

I can't get Kies to do the update. It downloads the "update components" and then nothing happens. I have tried everything to no avail.

Updated my Skyrocket to the new JB software and so far I like the way the phone is performing. Everything seems to run smoother, wifi is good, battery life is good and I like the file sharing feature where I can play music files on my network Oppo 105 bluray player.
