Jelly Bean Tips and Tricks

When you have multiple tabs open in Chrome browser you can scroll through them by placing your finger tip on the center line splitting the display and the black border. Then just move right or left. Keep your finger on the screen until you find the tab you want.

I know this isn't really an app section but may be considered a tip.

I'm looking for something on the tablet (or app to get) that functions like the Task Manager on ICS/Gingerbread.
I cannot seem to locate on the Nexus 7 something universal to stop running background crap.

Search for Astro File Manager. Has a task killer and your able to manage all files
 
If you swipe away the previously seen apps , found by pressing the lit icon right of the home icon, isn't that the same as stopping them like a task manager?

It isn't exactly convenient, but you can swipe notifications down from the top, click on the settings icon then click on Apps and then look at running apps tab, and there is an option to force close.
 
Under Google play music app the one with the head phone symbol if you play a file from under there and then hit the little 3 dot, menu in the top right it should say equalizer

And you can use your nexus 7 as a hard drive when plugged into a computer even if plugging in memory sticks is a little tricky.

It's a real Marmite tip. Some people slate for showing such a simple tip, but if you don't know about it, it's a godsend!
