Jelly Bean unlock animation.

Hello, all! I recently upgraded my phone (Galaxy S2, T989, the T-Mobile one) to JellyBean 4.1.2, and so far I've been very happy with it. Unfortunately, the unlock screen (I use the grid) takes a good three fourths of a second to fade away. I have noticed that I can operate the phone during the time that the screen is fading out (for example, I can open up an app from the home page), so I know that the phone is fully functional during this fading time.

It may be a bit of a first world problem, but this short wait makes the entire experience of using my phone seem slow and sluggish, and I would like to able to either speed up or remove the animation all together. This would make entering my phone much faster and nicer. I am rooted and am savvy enough in Android to follow most instruction or advice. Thank you in advance!
