Has anyone ever tried this? Our phone is listed, as well as the 3d. It looks sweet but when I try to flash it won't go past boot animation.

Using 4ext wiping everything,

I've tried hboots 1.04 and jbear 1.5050 and get the same results.

Maybe I need a partition? I don't know. I have only tried the shootervm

Any thoughts?

Agreed. We had a guy try that for the LTEvo last week and took hours getting his phone bootable again.

Go for another rom, don't be afraid to reflash recovery if you must.

After it hung at the boot logo I rebooted into recovery & wiped the caches again then it booted. However as soon as its done "Optimising Apps" it reboots and loops again. This rom just looks like it was just slapped together. To many "supported devices" to actually keep up with changes.

All the text on the pages full of grammatical errors. Doesn't boost my confidence in their compotence.

Wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole.

That Rom will never boot for any version of the Evo 3D i was curious myself and looked through the rom zip and there is "TouchWiz" Framework files in there so you know it won't boot....... besides its built off of dastin's Wild For The Night CM 10.1 and probably without any permission...... anyway i'd stay clear of that Rom there has to be a reason he was banned from XDA and it can't be good

Wow, why would the creator of that rom posting our phones as a supported device when it obviously doesn't work? I would not trust a developer like that.

Hmmm I looked around and there are youtube videos of JellyBAM running on galaxy s3, nexus, and other devices so I think they are legit.

Sucks that their builds for our phones (evo 3d and evo v) are not working properly.

Maybe we should post on their site about the problems and have them take a look and hopefully for a fix instead of bashing this rom. They made this for a lot of devices so obviously it takes a lot of their time and they aren't able to focus on our device build.

They're doing this for free so bashing them instead of reporting the problems isn't right. haha

You say that as if several of us haven't tried that already. Or as if they aren't on ignore and keep making claims anyway. Or that it's okay to post obviously untested roms.

I've seen youtubes of pigs flying but that doesn't make it so.

All I am saying is that this rom is legit and it's working for other devices. I originally thought that this rom is a ****** and not legit but after visiting their web and seeing videos and stuff, they're legit.

While I do agree that if a rom isn't working and been reported by several users, they should not be doing nothing. They should pull the download link until it's fixed.

If a rom isn't working we first report them to the developers so they can find a fix. Their rom is for many devices so they probably getting a ton of user feedbacks and whatnot, and it's gonna take a while to get to us since our phone is an older device.

They, the developers are kind anough to share their roms with us for free. We should be thankful and work with them to find solutions.

With the bashing attitude and blaming the devs when things don't work right, it's what's gonna drive developers away from making free roms for us.

just fyi..
i was just on their page, and i am the only one thats posted in the evo v section.
i posted it wouldnt boot and got a reply of something like hmm it should have booted...
so we'll see

FLASHING IS LIKE A DRUG

Right, but THIS is an Evo V forum, and we are talking about the Evo V.

I went on there and checked out the forum too. At least he responded and asking you to file a bug report. I'm hopefull that they will look into the vm build and fix whatever causes it not to boot.

(I've heard somewhere that you might have to wipe cache/dalvik right after flashing rom for it to boot right)

If you're a flashaholic, you could try it out for us? :p

I've tried a few simple things, one day I'll play more....

At least it flashes and doesn't wipe my recovery or anything!!!
