Jellybean issues

So there is a lot of things I like about jelly bean ....the animations and more fluid and my phone is for the most part more responsive but there are definitely some issues!

(A) quick search doesn't work as well anymore...holding down the search button used to be all I needed to do to use GPS....I held it down and simply said navigate to destination and that was it! ...now I have to wait for the initial 1st page to load, say Google then i can give voice instructions..This totally sucks!!

And

(B) what the hell is this text messaging warning? Its driving me crazy and after research I'm finding out that root is the only fix for this!? Why didn't they give us a (don't ask again) option? Epic fail I'm my opinion!

And

(C) when doing a browser search the very 1st search after holding down the search key takes forever!! Sometimes a full min for results ..it was lightning quick before after the initial 1st search there is no delay for additional searches but still is very annoying

And I used my sleep function all the time...its the only way I can make it through a 10 hour work day... does anyone know if there is an app available to get this feature back? because I've had no luck

I noticed that in security settings you can't set lock screen information anymore. I'm sure there's another app for that out there but it was nice when it was automatically included.
