SUroot is saying that in the UK we do not write dates as MM/DD/YYYY but DD/MM/YYYY. The OP wrote 11/14/12, which is so because, most likely, he is from the US.

Thanks for posting this, I didn't know it was available for T-Mobile in the US yet. So I just downloaded it and did the install, now it is updating a bunch of apps. Will post more when I have had a chance to play.
I updated my phone a couple of hours ago and I have to say that my phone feels extremely smooth. I was actually surprised at how smooth it was. The only thing that I have to get used to is the color of the notification bar (it's now a grayish black color). It's nothing too big but just something I have to get used to. So far so good with Jelly Bean.
I'd be curious to know who is doing a factory reset after updating & who is trying to update "in place". If you do choose to do a factory reset, I wonder how easily your apps & data are restored if you chose to back up to Google servers.
Definitely making a system image backup using the Toolkit before hopping on this wagon!

Battery consumption is up (due to google now I'm guessing) underestimated how much battery used, horrible today literally watched it drop 10% in less than 30 minutes. Hope I don't have to reset. Had great battery life with ics
Smoother? maybe?
Added allshare cast to the task bar.
Google now: I thought this was supposed to work without data? Had some issues finding music/artist on the phone, when you ask it to play an artist it will only que one song. Asking it to call someone was also hit and miss. Some errors when trying to set appt.
On a bad note: Had this issue before and now I can't remember what I did to fix it. While playing music it skips! Any ideas.
Crazy Brits and their dates! I need to add my location to my posts.
I've noticed one issue so far. I was in Google+ on my Page account (I don't know if this matters). I wrote the post and changed the location. I then pressed the button to take a photo. The camera screen launched but the screen was just black. Phone orientation would change but the only button that did anything was the menu button. That launched the choice to edit but I could not select it. I had to use the Home button to exit Google+, go into the Talk manager, swipe Google+ off and then clear the memory (basically trash everything I was doing in G+). I duplicated this twice in a row.
Everything else seems to work just fine. Google Now was a little difficult to find (Google Search, menu button and Settings).
Personally, I don't find that the screens are any "smoother" but I think they were just fine before.
I like that the date and time is now in the pull down notification bar. Google Now looks interesting and it seems to have added in local search.
I was really eager for JB but I'm hesitant to update now that I see all the problems people are having. The biggest drawback seems to be battery life, even with Google Now off. I guess I'm going to keep an eye on T-Mobile users' reactions to it before I take the plunge.
Usually when you update or install another rom . Once your phone starts up you'll receive some error messages. Like "application maps is not responding" something like that. To avoid getting these errors do a factory reset. Some people get 1 or 2 of those error messages. Some get 50-60. But as soon as you do that reset it all goes away.
I am really liking JB. My favorite addition is the ability to mute/vibrate/sound when holding the power key, which works even when phone is locked. This will help lots.
And google now seems to have replaced s-voice and launches by holding the left key.
So far so good.. I love the Google now feature ,and little things like notification bar when you get missed calls or messages .. I was hopeing they would have some camera updates or gallery changes.. But I'm still trying to figure everything out.
I updated my S3 to JB last night and so far so good. As everyone said, battery consumption has increased. I unplugged my phone for class at 9:10 am, it's 12:22 pm now and I am down to about 52%. That is with text messages and looking up a location twice. Other than that, I've just let my phone sit.
That is the only problem I am really seeing out of the update. Google Now is pretty cool. Set it up to my favorite NBA teams and was getting updates with scores and such.
