Root JF modded RC33 firmware?

Hey guys, I'm working on rooting my G1, followed the directions here, and..... I'm stuck at the point were I need to upgrade the firmware back to something reasonable without losing root, in order to grab ROM manager from google Play / android market.

I'm thinking the JF modded RC33 firmware would work but all I can find are dead links. Did anybody archive it and put up a newer link?

Nevermind, guys. After some more Google-Fu, I finally managed to find the stuff I'm looking for, and got all the updated Hboots, radios, recoveries, etc.
