Root JiT went bad ... almost dead phone

Hello

X8 2.1 with xrecovery. I wanted to install Jit so i first installed xrecovery. That went fine no errors and i did a full back up .
I followed step by step how to install jit .. everything went ok with no errors till the reboot time. THe phone would go in a loop after SE logo.
I was lucky enough to still be able to access xrecovery and did a full restore.

My question is this: what the hell went wrong with Jit? It really did not give out any errors said it finished and rebooted my phone
I am scared to try again

Scared why? How much time did it take to recover?
I had the same problem when I installed JIT the first time .. but don't remember why
Just try again. It worked for me. But those are moments of your life you're loosing because you won't feel the difference.
And since you are one of the few smart ones that actually read and install xRecovery first, congrats!
