Hi, bit of a hard boiled scientist here, who has wilfully avoided Computer Science for the first 45 years until it became bearable to look at.
For the last 10 years or so i've used a couple of Linux forums and know how important they are to the casual user.
A lot of help has been offered from these forums but i've also enjoyed answering other people's questions, particularly old unanswered posts.
Not wanting to try and make a career here and seeing how rapidly computing knowledge becomes obsolete, my interest remains circumspect.
I have found watching how this newer technology unfolds fascinating.
Recently got a Motorola moto G and immediately felt a need to join a forum - root restrictions are a bit of a shock so far but i live in hope !
