Jorte (custom help)

menasor

Newbie
I was wondering if anyone else is using Jorte and if you are have you customized the color on it because the pre-set ones are nice but bland. Does anyone have a custom one they can share or take a picture of so I can get ideas on a color scheme. Thank you guys.

I think Jortre is hideous. It's a pity because it's quite useful. I tried customising it to look like the LauncherPro Plus calendar, but failed. If only that can be a standalone widget, that will be great! :)

This was strange, it just disappeared from my homescreen and app drawer, but my application list says that its there...

Jorte widgets looks pretty decent if you have a dark background as your wallpaper. Just set the jorte theme to black theme and the widgets to transparent lines and background and you have a floating dark theme widget :) The full month calender looks really nice if you have a screen with lots of room on it for it. The link below just shows the agenda widget, I don't have the calender screenshot on my photobucket yet

I tweaked mine since then to a larger size because the text was too small but this is the agenda widget on one of my left screens:

it actually suits my tech/futuristic look very well because it looks kind of like a data readout ;)

good call on making it transparent i tried it and it looks good but i set it to like 50% because it looks funny with the lines and stuff.

you can make the lines transparent too so the only thing showing is the text itself. doesn't work with all wallpapers though, just dark ones. you need to set your Jorte default theme to black so all the text shows on a dark wallpaper, and then when you create the widget itself you have to set all the lines and background transparencies to zero in the options while you're making the widget and it'll end up like the pic above. Alternatively I suppose you could use a white Jorte theme and set everything to transparent on a light colored wallpaper but I've never tried it.
