Root JRummy's Droid 2 Overclock App

Doesn't seem to work with D2G. Just force closes. I assume it's because of the faster proc, but I'm not sure. Looking forward to an update!

I agree, to the best of my knowledge it is intended for the D2 and DX only. As you said, hope for an update.

I don't think he's made it compatible with that device yet.

I guessed as much, but I didn't know for sure until I tried, especially since other tools built for the D2 have worked on the D2G (ie. bootstrap). So I did, and now I know. I shared my experience so everyone else would know, too. Hence, my post.

It is probably a simple fix to get it to work for the D2G, as it was to get it from the DX to the D2. Someone with a D2G just has to help jrummy get there.

Jrummy does a great job overall. His D1 ROMs were awesome...
This app is already getting too thick. Open, set kernel, and close is what it used to be, now the loading time and such with the animations take way too long.
Sounds strange, but if you were a first adopter you will understand. The transitions are nice, but IMHO I think this app is going to turn into a heavy swiss army knife.

I feel you there. The additions are nice but I bought the app because of what its called. Overclocking is all I need out of it and as long as it continues to do that with no problem I guess ill put up with all the extras.

IMHO if you can grab one app that takes the place of two or three and contains jrummys quality, all the better. Anxious to see where he'll take it.

If you can't find the app in the Market it is because it is now just called Droid Overclock. It is not Droid X/2 Overclock anymore.

Amazing Man Thanks
