Just wondering if anyone use either of these, and if they really see a difference in battery life? I know that the GNEX has horrid battery life, just would like to know if it's even worth it to use any of these.
It's also my opinion these apps are not necessary if you know how to manage apps, screen, wireless settings efficiently. Some easy tips are, setting brightness low with dark static wallpaper, disabling Google+ and using WiFi when available.
If your at work try putting your phone on airplane mode
If you don't want to turn it off
Consider a extended battery.
As for juice defender my friend loves it
It drops your data when the screen shuts off
I don't know about other apps. I the a mod scary
I think has a battery app in the market.
If you can live with 3G and WiFi, battery saver is not needed at all. It can easily go over 20 hours. But if you want to be on 4G all the time, I think JD will be useful for extending stand by time. You may try free version of JD at balanced setting.
You could root the phone and flash lean kernel also. I was using battery xl before I flashed lean and don't use any battery saving app at all now and get even better battery performance.
