juice defender question

I recently downloaded the juice defender app and am a little confused about the toggle Mobile data widget. If I understand correctly, the purpose of the juice defender settings are to disable and reenable the mobile and wireless connectivity. Problem is, when I use the toggle Mobile data widget it overrides the setting. So...I guess my question is: after you use the widget to turn mobile data on or off, how do you give the juice defender setting (balanced, aggressive) precedence again?

I had JD+ and never could figure what the •••• it was talking about. Now I use Battery Hero. I haven’t done any proving, but with it and toggling data with Connection Manager, I can get home with well over eighty percent remaining, unless I use it too much. I don’t know if either saver, or any of them for that matter, actually does anything worthwhile, but they do keep the tigers away.
