Juice Defender Widget

Hi

I'm using JD Ultimate and quite happy with the results, however there are a number of references to a JD mobile data toggle widget for use on the home page. Trouble is, I can't find the widget anywhere--it's not there when I long press to add a widget and it's not anywhere in my applications. Any idea where I have to go to find this widget?

Thanks, CM

I've just enabled the quickbox--no widget yet--does it take awhile or is there anything else I need to do?

Know this may sound daft, but have you moved JD to the SD card, if so then widgets won't work, Have to have the App on the phone memory.

Should add that I don't know if JD can be moved to the SD card because I don't use it.

No widgets? hmm.. it should appear instantly, maybe it was the wrong setting? It does take a little troubleshooting to learn, JD is not very user-friendly. I still have trouble with it :o

below are my main JD settings, might help you:
  • Status>Profile>advanced
  • Status>Notification>graphical
  • Status>Notification action>Quickbox (enabled)
  • JD installed on phone memory (by default)

yes.. moving certain apps to SD can have side-effects.

Thanks both

Not daft at all, Bob--I DID move JD to the SD Card, but only after I couldn't find any widgets when it was on phone memory (to save some space).

I've now moved both basic JD and JD Ultimate back to the phone--still no widgets!

Curious Mew--I've mirrored your JD settings. Alas, I remain widgetless???!!!

@warthog01: The widgets JD offers (1x1 and 2x1) show both the mobile data and wifi radios and whether they're on or off, but you can't use it to toggle them on or off (you'd need something like Widgetsoid). Are these not available in the phone's widget menu? I know of no other ones.
