Hi guy's,
I have a Note 2, aside from a couple small issues the note 2 is quite amazing. However I have been somewhat put off on it's size for a daily phone. I saw the Lg Optimus G at Best Buy tonight and was simply amazed by it's build quality and just right size, I bought it and just set it up and WOW...problems. It was powered on for maybe just maybe 2 minutes and I went to settings to increase display brightness and I got an error message that said the device was overheated and I couldn't go brighter than 72%.
Next up is a VERY laggy UI, how can a quad core 2 gb ram phone be laggy? Scrolling through contacts and menus is downright painful, very jerky and buggy. Let me remind you that nothing is running or installed as I just took it out of the box. I did some Google searching and apparently many are experiencing overheating issues, kind of sucks as otherwise it appears to be a device that could have had a great run.
Back it goes, keeping the Note 2 until we all see what the GS4 looks like.
The purpose of this thread was simply a "heads up" the overheating and CPU issues with the Optimus G are very real, steer clear.
