Root jus got htc dream: what do i do?

so i got a htc dream rogers with 1.5 and im a android noob, so im just wut to do with it? i wanan root to 2.2, but have no idea how, can u guys show me how and recommend me good apps or addons thanks :3

which do i use? i have htc dream rogers (one before 1.89.631.1)
