Root Just a simple root

I just want to root my S3 mini no CWM Recovery or anything else. Is there a simple way to do it? Or do I have to use the Root Kit? If so will option 1 make a root and nothing else?

Thanks. I'm aware of the Toolkit your link refers to and I don't find it simple! That is why I ask what option 1 in the toolkit does. That is the one that says "Flash Insecure Boot Image and Root device". Will this option make a simple root and nothing else?

Hi

Yes option 1 just roots it - an "insecure" boot image is needed in order to get root access. Its insecure in that it allows rooting. When you start using the toolkit more explanation pops up before you have to do anything.

I have rooted my note 2 using the note2 toolkit from mskip and found it good - but of course be it on your head ......

I'm still not sure that the Rootkit is simple but I took the leap and followed the explanation. It is fairly simple but best of all I got my phone rooted and nothing has changed except for the superuser icon is in my drawer
