Just an FYI....Best Buy now has the S2 discounted

In case anyone bought their S2 from Best Buy recently like I did. You should go back and let them know that the price has dropped. They are now selling the S2 for $150, I just got back $81!!!!

Also, if anyone is in the market for an S2. I would get it from Best Buy :)
 
Yes, it's in-store. I went in to do a price match since Wal-Mart has it for $150 as well. Turns out I didn't even need to do that as when I went in I looked at the price of it and they had already lowered it to $150. They may just not have updated the online price.

I guess it makes sense as even the S2 Skyrocket is being sold at $150 as well.
 
I'm wondering this as well. Could I just go in with my receipt, and ask for a ~50$ refund, or do I have to return the phone (since I'm still under 30 days) and rebuy it at that price?
 
I just got mine two days ago. Don't quote me on their policy but if it's been 30 days or less I can almost guarantee that they will do it. No need to return the phone, I just walked in with my receipt and went to customer service. I let them know that they dropped the price on it to $150 and I paid $200 for it. They asked me for my receipt and gladly gave me the difference. With tax it came out to be an $81 difference.

Really? This is awesome news! I'll go back to Best Buy again and ask them to price match it. Here comes another $50!! Thanks for the heads up!
 
Weeee just enough incentive to go back and get this phone, I'm bored with the iPhone 4s already

Thank you for this. I read this and stopped by Target yesterday and they are getting me one from another store (they were out). This sale runs through Saturday so if anyone was waiting for that magical $100 mark like I was...you better act fast or have to wait a bit.
 
Target does not have a restocking fee and you also have 30 days. I ended up just price matching at best buy because they had to give me a $50 gift card back that I used for my preordered iPhone.

wow... so wait, I have an iPhone right now, due for upgrade. So all I have to do is go to target, but the S2, and pop in my sim card? I have grandfathered unlimited etc, all that will stay the same?
 
You will keep unlimited data, I just did the same thing. sim card will be different, iPhone is micro-sim, gs2 is not.
