Help just bought an atrix- have questions

i dropped and broke my iphone 3gs and i am waiting to see the 5g so i bought an atrix in the meantime.. i have a couple of questions.

i use a google apps email account: where is the "cc" on the page? i can't find it. strange.

can you load a facebook account without it taking over your contacts and assigning pictures to all of the facebook contacts that reside in your google contacts? frustrating.

when i use the google search on this "google" phone, holding the phone in the portrait position (i'm an old bb user) i get the left side of the screen as blank..

battery life: i have downloaded advanced task manager. doesn't seem to help. why do i have to toggle the gps on and off to manage power. don't have to do that with the iphone.

any way to get all of my itunes on my atrix? i downloaded "double twist" but it only gets a few of my songs. 90% of the songs says that i need itunes plus.. $.30 extra for each song. No way. i'll use my ipod.. paid for them once already.

You can remove the facebook account from motoblur and just download and use the facebook app (which I like a lot better, personally) Otherwise, go to contacts and at the top click the drop down menu category and select 'Google' for your google contacts to show up only.

When you click Gmail icon and go into mail (if that's how you're going about it) Click compose message and then click the bottom left Menu key on the phone (which looks like 4 squares) which will give you page options - the 3rd option over gives you "Add Cc/Bcc" insert.

Is the iphone usable at all? I mean, is the screen broken but you can still hook it up to the PC? I used google sync, it uploaded all my contacts and itunes then I plugged in my atrix and it put them all down to my new phone, I think google has tried to think of everything someone may encounter in a switch from an iphone.

My left side screen isnt blank using google search so Im not sure what to tell you there and I think the FB picture is a function in their app settings, Im not positive though. And what kind of battery life are we talking? Mine uses more than my old nokia but just about the same as my iphone and I just use the app manager to shut down running apps. Also, I dont think you can use CC on google apps email, not sure if they are going to fix this later because for business use it is needed.

When I first plugged in my Atrix to the PC, it installed Motorolla Media Link onto my PC. With that program I was able to sync my music, pics and videos from the PC. It also had an option on there to sync with iTunes but I did not use it. Try that.

google sync pulled in all of your itunes music/books / etc? wow.. and then it just synced them to your atrix? no problems? i must be doing something wrong..

get music from itunes easy-mode steps.
1) Select music in itunes
2) drag and drop into a folder
3) plug in your phone and turn on usb mass storage
4) put the folder anywhere on your phone you want
5) throw the apple product in the garbage where it belongs
