Help Just bought the inspire today and I have couple of problems, please help

I had the atrix for couple of weeks and I retuned it today, I couldn't stand the colors and the camera, I love the inspire, but I'm having couple of problems.

1. When I try to make sense account I get this error message "unable to get the region from the server" I have the option to try again or cancel. When I press try again same problem occur.

2. When I try to set up my yahoo email, I get this error message "authentication failed.please verify user name and password. My email worked with the atrix I had and works perfect with my iPad.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or missing something.. I'm new to android, Ive had all iPhones before I switched to the atrix.

I'd be interested in this too, as I got the same issue when I attempted to sign up for a sense account today..

I wish I could help you with the sense account thing but I didn't have any problems.
As for your email, double check to make sure all your settings are correct. And make sure wifi is off, your yahoo IMAP won't work over wifi. If that still doesn't work, try an app for it like maildriod or k9. I use k9 and really like it, you can combine all your email accounts into one inbox. Setup is easy as well as it will do most of the work for you.
 
For your yahoo mail download the yahoo mail app from the market, its free and works great. I had no problems setting up my AT&T mail since it is powered by yahoo. It is actually better in my opinion than setting it up through the phone because it pushes data.
 
i downloaded the yahoo mail app and that got figured out, so thanks a lot for that.. but i still can't create sense account, i wonder if i should take it back to att?
 
I also have the same problem with HTCsense where it will not connect. I keep getting the "Cannot determine you region from the server". My email works though and i can connect to everything else on the phone except HTCsense
 
Now it's finding the region but later on the process when i put all the info and tap on creat, it says my phone wasn't able to connect to sense, I'm guessing it's just an issue with sense and I shouldn't take my phone back to AT&T, but not sure

htcsense.com has been down for 2days for maintenance. This could be why it don't work.
 
Today I actually managed to sign up and everything is good, as far as yahoo email, I just downloaded yahoo mail app (still trying to figure out how to make it push notifications lol). But thanks for the response and suggestions everyone.
 
Try to Sense account again. I got my phone on Saturday and contacted support for Sense- the website was down for several days, but seems to be up again since yesterday afternoon. Let me know if you find out about yahoo b/c i can't set that up either.
 
Just an FYI, in addition to the Sense website being down for two days, it appears when you FIRST get your device, it's at least two days before the website will recognize your account etc.

I got my Inspire on the day of release, and a few people were complaining about the same thing. Two days after getting it, I could do everything via the website...

Odd really...
 
When I first got my Inspire I had the same issue for a few minutes with being able to sign into the HTC account due to the "not able to determine your region" issue. After a few minutes it finally worked and it was fine. Today I did a factory reset on the phone to see if I could fix a bluetooth issue I was having and of course I am having the same problem with trying to sign into HTC Sense. I am guessing it is just a temporary thing and I am hoping it resolves itself within the day or by tomorrow.
