I'm relatively new at this. Got my first Samsung T301G TracPhone, PlatinumTel Samsung Instinct M800, and PlatinumTel Sanyo Zio, all in about a year beginning at age 69, now 70.

This looks like a good place to look for information about Android phones so I'll give it a try. A year ago I knew absolutely nothing about cell phones and now I'm on my third one and can even turn it on.((-:

Now I can post in the Battery Widget Topic which brought me to this site seeking help. Been here looking around before as I've eased into learning about using the Sanyo.

I am using their PayGo prepaid but PlatinumTel also has some pay as you go too. They are one of if not the least expensive providers. Customer Service is quite good. Everybody speaks English without accents. I believe all of their people are from the US. They are based in Chicago.

I checked and didn't see the Sanyo Zio listed. However you do have Kiocera who make the phone for Sanyo called Kiocera Zio. I will have to check to see if this is one of the phones in the Kiocera listing.

A lot of the questions are about Android which I know you know is pretty common amongst all of the Android phones. This is a clean phone with no personalization in it like the ones from Sprint which by the way PT use as a carrier.

Probably more info than you wanted but I like the company.
