Help just found out how to save battery life for the whole day on LG MOTION

I just found out that doing what i did helps save
battery life a lot, first turn off data, then go to
settings, developer options, go down where it says
apps, check where it says don't keep activities,
where it say background process limit put no
background process, and of course turn power
saver on and your battery will last more than a
day.also on location services all that should be off,
also the brightness should be on 0% if your gonna
use it indoors, but if your gonna use it outdoors
with a sunny day put 50% brightness, it works.

Just turning off data will help you save battery and it will last all day. if you're having problems with the battery life its most likely due to downloading junk apps that download constantly from the internet in the background. you can set up your phone so you can turn data on and off from pulling down the status bar. I run 100 percent screen brightness all day and volume all the way up all day. I keep data off while I'm at work or school, and the phone always lasts all day and all night. remember with data of you can still send and receive text messages, those are sent over the phone network.

Mega that's true unless its a message over 140 characters then it becomes an mms which does require the data network.

The LTE radio eats battery like a fat kid eats bon bons. You can literally watch the meter drop, at least that how it does on minez.

Since this phone can place VoLTE calls (calls over data), I wonder if I could turn off the cdma radio by rooting the phone? Since the real battery chewer is that the phone has a cdma and lte radio,

Of course if I go out of the LTE coverage the call would drop, rather than be handed over to cdma.

it would be better to turn off the 4G and save it for when you really need it, better to use 1X, 3G and WIFI whenever possible. obviously WIFI being the best option
