Just got a new nexus!

It might seem odd, given that the S3 is out there, but I just didn't like the look and feel of the S3. Loving the nexus!

Has Jelly bean made a significant improvement in the performance? I didn't see it before the update. I also have a transformer prime which is due to get JB sometime soon. I'm looking forward to the update if it makes it as smooth as this nexus.

I had a Galaxy S before, and the nexus is worlds away from that!!

Honestly, I think JB makes a pretty nice speed bump in the performance category. Obviously I'm running a custom ROM on my Verizon version so I can't say what the stock update will be like. Either way, you've got one of just a few devices out there running JB!

My son was playing with his iphone last week, and it was so smooth and so fast compared to my galaxy s. I was sorely tempted to go apple. And i was tempted to drop kick the S into the nearest river! But the insurance would probably have been a like for like replacement!!

Never played with an SGS1 myself, but I can understand the quality of the upgrade.
