Just got a RAZR!

Well, I was waiting for the Nexus, and I simply couldn't stand the wait anymore. I was using an old flip phone that I hated and it was time for me to take the plunge. I absolutely LOVE the form factor of the RAZR and honestly....it is surprising me how much I am liking this phone so far!

I had such a TERRIBLE experience at the Verizon store I usually go to that I ended up leaving and driving over to another city just to go to a different store. The employees I interacted with were rude, short with me, and had no idea that VZW started the new return policy today and so they made me feel like an idiot. I literally had to call up another store just so they could tell the store I was at that the new return policy was, indeed, a real thing. It was ridiculous. My girlfriend started yelling at the guy helping us. Seriously, never had an experience where the rep was so rude and short with me.

But! It all worked out in the end. I got the phone! The screen is beautiful (don't notice any of the talked about flaws), it is fast, I hid/uninstalled all the crap apps it came with, and right now..I am in bliss!

Contrats on your getting Razr. Just curious, would you return it for Nexus when it comes out within a few weeks?

My thoughts process going into getting the phone was to use it and then return it once the Nexus comes out. I couldn't make it waiting until December if it is actually pushed back until then. However, after playing with it, this really is an awesome phone. I most likely will trade it in for the Nexus when it comes out just for ICS and pure Google, but who knows....it is soooooo incredibly thin and the form factor is outstanding. I'm not 100% sure at this point.

At any rate, the RAZR really is an awesome machine and it will grow on you. I was impressed when I first got it as well and the longer I use it the more I like it. The biggest plus besides the tremendous build quality and uniqueness is the reliability of the device.

I love a device that just works and the RAZR delivers. Enjoy it while you have it but beware the darn thing will grow on you

It's truly one of a kind and you will see what I mean in due time...........

I definitely hear you man. Honestly...this phone has blown away my expectations so far. The reviews I read really didn't leave me impressed, but now that I am using it myself...wow. Motorola did a great job here. Honestly, I don't know if I will want to give this phone up! It is way better than I imagined!
