Just got a system update notification

I will have to turn mine on to check. I picked up a Pixel and have been using that. Still nothing from CAT for me saying how to accept updates on my model.. Maybe this is a fix haha.

Yeah I spend a decent amount on them but 95% of the time I lose very little on selling them. Like my Xperia Z5c, I bought itfor 440, 6 months later I sold it for 420. The Cat will prolly be my biggest loss since it is such a niche phone. I do have the benefit of the only working dual sim US model though.

I also develop for them, so having the latest and those with the newest features can be helpful. I don't develop as much as I used to as my job gets in the way but I still enjoy it when I can.
 
I happened to pull my phone out of my pocket and glance at it, and it seemed to be trying to update itself even though I hadn't given it permission, so I cancelled the update. Now when I check for update, it finds nothing. Strange.
 
Just updated, ever since I cancelled that update, I have not gotten another request for system update, and telling it to manually check, says that it's up to date. Very strange.

I do not like that there isn't a way to disable auto update downloads.
