Help Just got an update today

This is all I was able to find about the latest update: Asus Eee Pad Transformer getting firmware update, brings HDMI fix, updated apps | AndroidOS.in

Just fixes HDMI and has some app updates and makes things a bit smoother.

has anyone else had an issue with installing the new update? I am rooted with the stock ROM and when I try to install the update it starts unpacking it then I get the yellow triangle with an exclamation point and I have go do. hard reboot.

I wouldn't expect the update to install on a rooted device. If you want the update you'll probably have to flash a ROM that's built on it.

Would this be the case even though I am running the stock firmware (no new roms)?

It's hard to say for SURE, it tends to differ by device, and by rooting method. I always just work on the assumption that rooting 'breaks' OTA updates.
