Just got my Maxx, when ICS?

I just got my Maxx and have been playing around with it and setting up all my screens and downloaded all my backed up apps (via AppBrain), etc. and it occurred to me: should I NOT do all this setup work if 4.0 will be pushed to it soon, and I'll have to start over? Should I wait, or will Ice Cream Sandwich leave my set up alone?

We wont see ICS on the maxx for a while. Last i heard there wasnt even a hard date when the update would be pushed out. Based on the popularity of the phone, I hope everyone crying over ICS resonates with MOTO.
