Just got my moto X..

I had ordered the moto g when it first came out, yet last month the screen developed a dime sized white spot in it when ever it was showing a black background, so I sent it in for an RMA. I was told it would be a 5 day turn around, yet once it was in their hands, they had it for over three weeks. After many frustrating days and reaching out to people with some pull all over the web, I got a new moto g shipped to me; however, it has problems to, yet a person at Motorola reached out to me, and because I was offered a moto X as a replacement but still got a moto g, she upgraded me to the moto x. I went on to moto maker, created my phone, and now I am waiting for it to get put together, and shipped. I know on the site it says expected ship date is the 13th of May, yet I was wondering if any of you have had similar experiences and how long did it really take for you to get your X?

Mine wasn't a Motomaker, but I did order it direct from Moto. Like Google (I've order 3 Nexus 7's directly from play) you will be frustrated waiting for a shipping confirmation and the first indication you will get you will find out it is already on the truck out for delivery.

Also, you have to physically be there to sign for the package. They won't let you leave a note, otherwise, you will need to arrange for a second delivery attempt or go to the local FedEx facility to pick it up.

I didn't have to sign for either of the X's I got directly from Moto. Neither was MotoMaker, both are DE's, but they were just dropped on my doorstep. I was home when both times and didn't have to sign, he didn't even knock the second time!

Thanks for these details on battery and examples of use. Did you install the over the air updates and if so has the battery been impacted? How many hours do you get with the kind of usage you noted?
