Just had a random good thought

They need to incorperate a little app into Android that has a "drop count" using the accelerometer, to know how the device has been taken care of.

Or a log or something that a third party app could tell you all the times its hit a certain peak force.

Nah mean?

You can probably fake drop count by moving your phone rapidly. And what about park rides? I can think of a few that will probably fool your phone into thinking that it fell.

I don't think there is too much of a cumulative drop effect with a phone. Either it breaks or it doesn't. If you have an undropped phone and one that has been dropped 50 times without breaking, the probability of the second phone being damaged by additional mishandling might be 1% higher, maybe.
