Just Information about headsets with Mic's and remotes

ok ok LG optimus needs a review thread like this for people to get information!
i'll try and start this off by giving the compatibility of the apple in ear headphones with remote and mic

so far what i've gathered.

The Center Button,
one press (Play/pause music)
double press (next track on music)

The Mic,
works on all apps and in calls, still the voice volume issue as always though.

The volume up and down buttons,
they work, but they change some sort of system volume, only thing i've noticed they change are the keyboard clicks and the lock/unlock volume. That change isn't visually noticeable!!

Thanks for posting this topic. I'd like to buy some simple earbuds with an inline control. Mostly interested in a pause/play function for the mp3 player app.

I'm not sure I understand the original post here, does that center button work OK? Personally I'm not too concerned about a volume function.

Does anyone have any recommendations for some good ear buds with inline controls that work with this phone? Cheap and simple would be nice. Thanks!

So far every earphone set I've tried with an inline button has been play/pause while not in a call. Ones I've purchased and extras lying around the house from past phones, mostly my wife's Blackberries.

well most of them have play pause and mic usability, but its mostly based on the phones its designed for, there are many kinds of TRRS configurations most are compatible in ways, but its all a matter of HOW usable they can be on this phone. i've personally haven't gotten to try any others D:
