Just ordered my Maxx!!!!

I am back on the Android Bandwagon!!! Just called Verizon and I was about 45 days from my upgrade and pretty much pleaded with them to allow me to upgrade and they let me. I am so psyched to get this phone after reading so much about it in this forum I can't wait to get my hands on it.

I use to have a Droid X and then went to the iPhone 4. Once this came out I couldn't wait to try it. Sorry to bore you all but I am just a little excited. Carry on, lol.

Long live Android!!! :-)
 
I too just ordered my MAXX after reading so much in this forum! I tried a couple of weeks ago but they wouldn't let me upgrade. Went in the store today and did it! How long did they say before you get it? They told me a couple of days....and I haven't gotten an email to track yet...

So I totally understand how excited you are!!

I noticed today that they are saying on the site they won't ship till March 2nd. So I asked her about it and she said they have them in stock and it will arrive in 2-3 days.

Time to start accessorizing!!!!!
 
If you can stop that order sometimes they have them in the store... My friend that works for Verizon picked up 2 for me BOGO deal. I get them Friday from him!(Only because he's out of town). :D

google the vzw order lookup page and enter your receipt info, no spaces.

Or just log into vzw online. I ordered mine and it wasn't there a few hours after the order, but it was there the next morning! Couldn't get tracking info though, I think you have to go back to the store you ordered it from to look that up!

Congrats OP! If battery life is critical, you are going to over love your maxx!

I just googled the lookup page and it says it is processing and check back tomorrow!! I guess I will be stalking that page!!:D
 
Congrats on the new purchase, my son and I just got ours yesterday he wanted an I phone 4s I talked him into this one since it was a BOGO free promotion going on.

Freakin' so popular! I just logged into VZW and now it's will ship by 3/2!!!!!

Can't believe media hasn't picked up on this, lol! Probably the most in-demand smart phone ever!

I absolutely LOVE mine! Not just for the battery life.... well that's a huge factor.

Dunno if I posted it.. .last friday did a ton of stuff on it, nav, lots of netflix and browsing galore. Forgot to see where it was at the end of the day... slept and in the morning it was at 30%, so I launched a nav session, and fired up some blatent netflix, and let it sit... 5% after 3 hours, and then let it ride for another 1/2 hour, it didn't flinch.

Maybe battery stats since that was the first time I could pull the battery down that far, so there might have been a LOT left.

Cardinal rule, 3 full battery charges on Android... kinda hard to do with this phone!

When I went into Verizon today the guy said they originally got 50 and they were gone the next day. They had no idea it would be this big.

Just got my shipment notification email. Will be here Friday!!! Not sure why the site is saying March 2nd.
 
Ordered mine yesterday from verizon online, no shipment notice for me. When I ordered it said will ship by the 28th, now it says the 2nd. :/

Maybe that is just an online thing then cause I called and I even asked her about what the site says and asked her if they had them in stock and she said yes. A few hrs later I got my confirmation email stating it will be here tomorrow. Can't wait!!!!!

I just called them. I talked to them a couple weeks ago and they told me I couldn't upgrade until at least 30 days before my upgrade was up.

I called yesterday just to see if I could possibly weasel it with someone else and they said sure!! had it approved by their supervisor and I was gtg, 45 days before I was up for it.

I think maybe the online system is backed up. It seems that if you went to a store then it is a longer wait. Not sure why though.
 
Cancelled my verizon order and bought from Amazon wireless. Its already scheduled to ship today. Cheaper too.

Wish I would have done this 3 days ago.
 
Usually, you don't even have to turbo.

Just restate you are close and ask if there is someone else you can talk to. I've used that line, and I think they are trained for "someone else I can talk to", to immediately get their higher tier, or manager.

Sounds like your response has to do with getting approval to upgrade early, although no one in this thread is actually wrestling with that issue.

I will say it sucks waiting for this thing. I've ordered from two different places and no one has given me a tracking number. Oh well. I'd rather amazon took my cash than Verizon. My account says both did and yet no phone!
