Just picked one up

I got a great deal ($85, very lightly used), and picked this up for some gaming purposes (Baldur's Gate Extended Edition, some Final Fantasies), email, light web browsing, watching some videos, and reading.

Will this do well for these purposes?

What's the best SD card I can get for this?

It's worth $85...it's not worth the retail price when it came out ($199)....I got mine in a trade and it's been going strong for a year. My son plays games on it almost daily.

Mine was $159. It is behind a ton on specs, looks like a giant Galaxy S3, but with poor performance. Screen is too low resolution for comfortable reading.

For the same price you'd get a better tablet with a Tab 4 7 instead. This thing reminds me of something Samsung would release three years ago.

I use mine as a remote for Chromecast.
