Just picked up a TP300

Just picked one up yesterday and couldn't be happier. Coming from a kindle fire this is a major upgrade and one I wasn't even sure I really needed. I have been trying to decide for months if I really wanted a new tablet or not and if I did what one to even get. Finally I got tied of not being able to access the play store and pulled the trigger!!

I was waiting to see what Google had to say about the nexus but decided I wasn't going to be happy with another 7" tablet. After a little research I feel I made the right decision.

Now we just need a little more action this forum.
 
Congrats, and I agree we need more action on this forum. My wife and I had HP touchpads running CM9 and got tired of the constant bugs and picked up 2 TF300s and could not be happier.

I went with Amazon, a bit cheaper then Best Buy, Staples, and all other B&M stores, plus you don't pay sales tax. Also, one of the 2 tablets was defective, and Amazon over-nighted me a new one and paid for shipping back. Really happy with Amazons customer service.

Not really, I picked it up at staples (best buy was closed do to a power outage from the major wind storm that hit on Friday). All I was really going to do while I was there was to look and play with them but decided then and there to stop procrastinating and get it over with. They didn't have any accessories so I went to Amazon for the case and micro sd card.

Which case did you get?
 
I got a Moko from Amazon too. Fits well and the stand slots have three positions. Also ordered a similar build case off Ebay that has 360 adjustment and can also stand in portrait mode (will use for MAME).
