this happens to me when the default sense 3.6 launcher is opened for the first time (may have been cleared out of memory). It'll show the htc logo very quickly, then go to home screen. Usually happens when I update apex launcher, press home, then accidentally choose sense launcher instead of apex launcher. But then i set my default launcher back to apex and i never see the sense launcher again until i install or update a launcher.
