I'm very new to Android. I've had my first Android device, a Pocketbook IQ 701, about two weeks. I hope that my questions won't be too stupid.
Just for fun:
Before most of you were born, I used to do programming for one of the early desktop machines, an Apple II+, which was more like a modern Wintel machine than the Apples you know. It was a pure 8-bit system with no hard disk, 48KB of RAM - which was enormous - and a bus speed of 1 MHz.
