I hope everyone had a great Christmas and got close to what they wanted ...

me ? We are poor people, I am glad to have my wife and what health I do own ....

(Also got lots of cool gifts !)

I got an electric nose trimmer, I have also a few new books, one of them is the sequal to the Nightmare Before Christmas movie, and a garfeild book, a panda bookmark, a lot of candy that has sugar in it, some butter cookies. I feel happy from what I got from the Saran Wrap games I did at my home and at my sister's place, oh also Scatagories box , my friend has the card game of it for his gift too, fun over all.

Since our anniversary is December 21, the two occasions sort of run together. However, I have decided to get my amateur radio license and the Darling Bride gifted me the full study course so I can pass the tests and get my FCC license. I also got the Baofeng BF-F8HP Pro handheld radio, which I can listen to all day (I just can't push the "transmit" key yet). I'll start on that next weekend, but I really need to finish writing my next book.

It's just me and the Boss Lady at home these days. The girls are busy with their own kids, which we don't get to see as much as we'd like to.
We quit gifting each other several years ago...
we generally buy what we want throughout the year anyway.
My wife has her next surgery on New Years Eve and hopefully she'll mend up as good as she has from the last one. Perhaps more travel is on tap for the next year.

My son is home for the holidays. He is in the Army NG and training.

My brother his wife and my niece and her fiance are in town. Got to spend Christmas with them.

I got 2 sets of sweatpants and matching hoodies. I'm all set technology wise.

There are some great online tutorials and mock tests that I found worthy of my time when I was studying. Good luck. It's a great bucket list item to check off.

My how the radios have changed since my days of dabbling in the hobby.
