on the dropdown notification bar or on the lockscreen?? anyways the answer is yes to both. for the lock screen you have to edit the corresponding XML line and i think you can do the same for the notification bar but UOT Kitchen can do it too. and i would recommend using UOT if you want to get rid of the text on the notification bar
