Root jvq 2.3.4 from samfirmware

i tried it for a day. couldnt notice any difference from jvp. i did get a lot of network connection errors when i opened market through wifi. i dont know if this was the firmware or a bad day on the market. i went back to jvp again.

has anyone tried it yet? is it worth upgrading from previous 2.3.4? i hate rebuilding the phone after updates.....:-)

Yes and its the best gingerbread firmware.
But you should always upgrade from a clean phone.
The best way is to always have a backup on all apps.
Use titanium backup pro from the market.
It cost some $, but it wort any cent of it.
But always if you want more out of the firmware you need a custom kernel.
Then you get so much faster and smoother phone.
