K-9 Mail, Marking as Read on Server

I use K-9 Mail for my hotmail account. When I mark emails as read on my phone I would like that to sync with my hotmail account.

For some reason I can get it to delete the emails on the server, but I can't get it to mark it as read.

Can somebody help me out here?

Maybe a different app that will sync better with hotmail?
