K-9 Mail receiving problem

I don't use K-9 so I don't know if there are any additional configurations needed, but I'd look to see if your data goes to sleep with the phone, which would not permit mail to be received. You might also want to ask in Android Applications - Android Forums and see if someone who uses K-( can shed some light on the problem. Don't forget to mention your phone model and android version.
