K-9 Notifications

I love this application, but lately I am not getting all notifications. It appears random. I'll get a notification, then all of a sudden I'll check and see several emails with no notification (sound or in the notification bar). Anyone else having this problem?

Not having this issue with stock mail app, but I like K-9 better.
 
I have 3 different email accounts, I use different apps for them. I have tried using just one app (K9, maildroid, stock), but it takes longer to navigate. I use maildroid for one account, but still would like to use K9 as well.
 
I tried K9 but the pop3 account would not receive reliably and would always have errors when sending. I had to resort to sending through Gmail and putting the pop3 addy on it.

That's why I tried maildroid.
I have six accounts, a bunch of hotmail accounts, a pop3 and an exchange account.
Each one works, just plain works with maildroid.
(Yeah, I am a raving fanboy) :)

Even better is you noting my lack of help and then...not helping?
There is no fix for K9.
(Push your Gmail though "Forwarding" under the settings tab and have gmail use your other accounts addy when it does the forwarding so it appears to have come from the other account - whether it's pop3 or whatever)

And unless you can instantly deduce what he did when he tried maildroid neither of us knows whether it was setup properly.

Can you have separate shortcuts for each email address with maildroid? I don't like the combined mailbox. Nor do I like having to open the app, then choose which account. I also had to double check to make sure I was sending/replying with the correct email address when I had them all under one app.

The notifications used to work fine. No changes on my part. It started a few revisions back. I connect K9 to Yahoo via imap.

Yes, it's a combined mailbox - I have mine set to open none of them as default.

Mail comes in - the notification can be one of four choices - I use the led and in the notification bar. By accessing the notification the app opens to the mailbox with asterisks showing which accounts received mail and the number of emails in parenthesis next to the account name.

If you open an email to a particular addy and hit reply you are using that same addy for the return addy, right?...that concern I don't understand, unless you're referring to forwarding.
If you send me an email at Joeschmoe@hotmail.com and I open that and click the reply button, the returning account will be Joeschmoe, right?
(It really sounds to me as though we're talking of forwarding)
 
Trying maildroid for all email accounts. Is it possible to have a different notification sound/led color for each different account? I only see it under global settings.

update: I emailed the dev and they told me about the 'rules'. Works well.
