Help K9 email app

Samsung Mesmerize (USCC) The K9 app seems to work very well, except for one thing. I turn my phone off at night. When I turn it back on the next morning the poll clock time is way off. It will say that the next poll time is 10:10 pm. I have the fetch-for-mail set to poll every 5 minutes. I've tried battery pulls and usually that works, but not this morning. I sure do not want to have to re-install every time this happens. Any ideas?

Have you tried going into the unified inbox and manually checking email after you start it up? That may reset all of the poll times.

I leave mine on all the time (its my alarm clock and my only phone line) so I haven't run into this problem. I have "quiet time" enabled at night so if it checks email in the middle of the night it won't notify me and wake me up.

Thanks. I went ahead and re-installed K9 last night, and so far...so good. If it acts up again, I will definitely try your suggestion. What do you know about "Enhanced Email" by Quantum Solutions? I have two pop3 email accounts...wondering if an email app is worth $9.99?

I've heard of it and read the "blurb" it has in the market listing, but thats about it. I haven't used it. I would say if you're only running 2 POP3 accounts, that K9 will do more than enough to make you happy. (Assuming the reinstall cures the issues you had)
