k9 email question...

So I have both my hotmail and gmail accounts on my k9 app.

both have seperate folders of course. but for some reason lately when I send mail out from my hotmail I may get a reply into my gmail folder.

example:
I sent an email last night from xxxxxxx@hotmail.com and got a reply a few hours later from the person. and then today I got a new email from him (not a Re and it was sent to my xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com account. I never even gave him my gmail account?!

are they meshing together???

Could you have set a reply to address?

Press andhold on account > sending mail> manage identities > initial identity > reply to address.

Ifleft blank, the reply to address will be the same as the sent address.

ok under initial identity 'your name' is my gmail account and my email address is my hotmail

reply to email is blank. hmmm

It should always reply as your hotmail address if that's what you have as your identity. You can set-up more than one, and when replying, hit menu/more/send as... where you can change your sending address.

i tested it out with a friend. I sent one email from my pc with my hotmail and one from my hotmail using K9. he said the first one was from hotmail only and the 2nd one said it was from my gmail AND hotmail. for some reason for no reason over the last few days they have converged into one on my phone.

I'm far from a k9 expert. Maybe re install or drop the developer a message?
