Forget using WebDAV and just set it up as IMAP. K9 does not use ActiveSync anyway as they do not have a license for it and you won't get calendar and contact sync anyway. I've done it, but it is really not worth the effort.

If you really MUST do it WebDAV, you'll have to fill in the authentication path with something like: https://your.owa.server.com/owa/auth/owaauth.dll Your user name will be NETBIOSDOMAIN\username (not the dnsdomainname.com) mailbox alias will probably be your email address, it depends on how your IT department has it set up.

What I'm doing is using K9/IMAP for mail and I use "Improved Email" for ActiveSync of contacts and calendar. Just set up Improved Email, disable notifications and tell it only to sync 1 day's worth of mail. This will get you contacts and calendar and you can use the superior K9 for mail. K9 supports IMAP_IDLE (push for IMAP) and it works fine.

Oh, and "Why Improved Email?" Because it supports ActiveSync, and it will allow you to change the account color, thus letting you control the color of your calendar items. :-)
