K9 Mail Help please! A little TOO complex?!

Hi all,

Wonder if any K9 fans can help?!

I want to set up (well actually have set up) my hotmail account on K9 mail, but im a bit stuck , heres what i want it to do (like on the Iphone!)

When i go into it, i want it to check my mail, then when i read a mail or delete a mail, i want it to delete it from my Actual hotmail account on the internet too?

Is this possible, at the moment it says syncing disabled, theres so many options im lost!!

While in the mailbox, click the Menu button on your phone. Then go to More > Settings > Account Settings > Fetching mail.

If Sync server deletions isn't selected, select it. Then "When I delete a message" select Delete from Server. Click the Back button to save.

Thank u for that. it now works. the only other thing how do i get it to check mail as i open it? its a bit slow?!

It will delete them but when i read an email on phone if i go back to hotmail laptop it still appears new mail?

Looking at the settings, it doesn't appear that you can have it automatically poll your mailbox when you open it.

Any ideas on the Reading on phone and being read on Hotmail?

Not that impressed with Andriod Emails !
